Oklahoma's Botanical Heritage

This poster highlights many of the native plants that characterize Oklahoma. The front of the poster includes a map of Oklahoma depicting five ecoregions. Five plants were chosen to illustrate the botanical diversity of each ecoregion. Many of the plants on the poster are common throughout Oklahoma. However, other plants featured on the poster are less common, but represent the diversity of species found in the ecoregions. The back of the poster includes ecological information and species descriptions as well as information on Oklahoma Biological Survey, Oklahoma Natural Heritage Inventory, Oklahoma Natural Areas Registry, and the Bebb Herbarium.

With this poster we hope to increase Oklahomans' awareness of the beauty and diversity of our native plants.
