Southwestern Association of Naturalists

PREMIO AL POSTER ESTUDIANTIL CLARK HUBBS
Cada año en su Reunión Anual, la Southwestern Association of Naturalists otorga un premio para los mejores posters por estudiantes que presenten la investigación original del estudiante. El premio al primer lugar consiste de una suma de $600 US y todos los tomos anteriores disponibles de The Southwestern Naturalist. PREMIO ESTUDIANTIL PARA INVESTIGACION HOWARD McCARLEY
El
Fondo Howard McCarley para Investigación Estudiantil entrega hasta ocho premios
anualmente, de hasta $1,000 US cada uno, para apoyar la investigación estudiantil. Los solicitantes deben ser estudiantes (licenciatura o postgrado) actualmente
matriculados en una institución de educación superior, auspiciados por un
profesor y ser miembros de la Southwestern Association of Naturalists. Los premios serán otorgados para apoyar cualquier
aspecto de investigación de la biota del suroeste de los Estados Unidos, México,
y Centroamérica, excepto para viajes a congresos. Cada persona puede recibir un máximo de dos
premios de la Asociación. Todos los
estudiantes que cumplen los requisitos están invitados a solicitar, especialmente

PREMIO ESTUDIANTIL PARA VIAJE BRUCE STEWART
Cada año la Southwestern Association of Naturalists otorga el Premio Estudiantil para Viaje Bruce Stewart para ayudar con los gastos de viaje y de la reunión a estudiantes que asisten a la reunión anual. En un año, estos premios se dan a los estudiantes que soliciten de fuera del país huésped que estén dando una presentación oral o un poster. Para recibir este premio los estudiantes tienen que ser miembros de la asociación. Estudiantes que han recibido dos premios de viaje previamente no lo pueden recibir nuevamente. Instrucciones específicas y fechas límite (generalmente el 1 de febrero) para solicitudes en línea se encuentran cada año en el portal de SWAN.
