Registration table open: 1:00-6:00 p.m.

Inventory begins 3:00 p.m.

Using Hand Nets to Collect Insects: 4:30 p.m.

Common Birds of Robbers Cave: 5:00 p.m.

Picnic (for registered volunteers): 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Night-time insect collecting and id: on going in evening after picnic

Black-lighting for moths: 8:00 p.m.

Fluorescent Lichens: 8:00 p.m.

Night-time Herping: 9:00 p.m.

Saturday 19th

  • Robbers Cave Nature Center will be open
  • Nature Activities and Crafts
  • Enviro Fact Table
  • Exhibits of organisms found during the Inventory
  • Biologists talking about their organisms

Light breakfast (for registered volunteers): 7:30 a.m.

Registration table open: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Bird Walks: 8:00 & 8:30 a.m.

Pond Seining: 9:00 a.m.

Wildflower Walk: 9:00 a.m.

Ferns of Robbers Cave: 10:00 a.m.

Things that Slither and Hiss: 11:00 a.m.

Butterfly Walk: 11:30 a.m.

Collecting Fish: 1:00 p.m.

Using Hand Nets to Collect Insects: 1:30 p.m.

Snakes of Oklahoma: 2:00 p.m.

Inventory ends 3:00 p.m.

Inventory tally announced 3:30 p.m.

Celebration of BioBlitz! 2009 and announcement of BioBlitz! 2010 location 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Saturday Evening - park naturalist program on history of Robbers Cave.
